SWANK

In today's car scene it seems like people try so hard to out do one another that they end up with a car that has too much "stance" and not enough style. In my opinion simplicity is the way to go and although it can be hard to perfect, once you get it right, its the best look out there. That's exactly what Alex has done. This car has two things, some 3 piece AC Schnitzer's and Broadway Static coilovers and that's all it needs.

GRADE A BOYS BRAWL

I recently went to a show for the Grade A Boys which is a couple of guys that I went to school with and a fight broke out during the performance. I managed to get some footage of both the show and fight. Enjoy!

NYC Trip

Its been a very busy week and i haven't had the time to post lately but last weekend I went to New York City, Connecticut and Boston in one two day trip. The main event for my weekend was the Czarface Release Party in Boston. I had a great time at the show and was able to catch up with a few really cool guys I know from the car scene. Seeing Apathy, Blacastan and of course 7L, Esoteric and Inspectahdeck live was also an amazing experience. This show was so much different from any Drake, 2 Chainz or Rick Ross concert, it felt so much more real and down to earth. I remember seeing Apathy walking past me in the crowd on his way from the bar to the stage like it was no big deal. This was also my first time being in Boston in about 7 years so it was cool to get back there at a much older age and really appreciate it. After consuming plenty of beers and enjoying the concert we went back to our hotel and first thing the next morning we were on our way back to my buddy's house in Connecticut so I could take the train back to NYC and then get on the bus from NYC to Baltimore. By the time we got back to Connecticut my friends from Maryland told me that they were in the City to check out the Supreme store and said I could ride back with them. Long story short, when I got back to NYC we chilled in the city for a bit and then made the drive back home to Maryland. I didn't have my camera out the entire time but I was able to take a few shots. Enjoy!

Today I met up with my boy Derek to get some pics of his E36 because he just finished painting his 1552 Tarmac's teal. I've never been a fan of fruity colored wheels but the fact that his car is hammered more than makes up for it. Enjoy!

This week I got together with my buddy George to do a quick video of his E30. The rain and wet roads made it a bit difficult to get all the shots I wanted but all things considered I'm satisfied with the finished product. Enjoy!

Beer, Top Gear and Hookah

Me and a couple buddies got together and to drink some beers, smoke some hookah and watch the season premier of Top gear. Seeing the test drive of the new Pagani Huayra was the highlight of the night along with breaking in our buddy's new Hookah.

The album Czarface has been one of the most highly anticipated albums throughout the underground hip-hop scene. With the release date right around the corner this album has been on my mind 24/7. 7L and Esoteric have done some amazing work together over the years and with the addition of Inspectah Deck and a mind blowing variety of features like Roc Marciano, Vinnie Paz, Ghostface Killah, Large Professor and DJ Premier. If you plan on being in the Boston area on February 22nd then you better be at the Release Party. Hello people of earth. My name is Devin McCoy. If you don't already know me then heres a quick break down; I like hip-hop, low cars, fast cars, skateboarding, basketball, drifting and beautiful women. In my spare time I do freelance photography and videography. Most of the videos I make and photos I take are of local musical artists and people in the central Maryland car scene but in no way limited to that. I generally don't like most of the music I hear on the radio because its pretty awful. I'm the guy who puts his headphones on when I ride in someone else's car and tells them how bad their favorite rapper is . Aside from that subject, you can say I'm an open minded individual. In addition to my opinions on hip-hop this blog will feature the progress of my own cars, my friends cars and what I consider the finer things in life with a healthy serving of comedy and satire.
